in the 89 catalogue, rear mech cable guides run down the downtube and along the chainstay. yours are on the headtube (like the '91) and down the seatstay. also the rear triangle doesn't seemed to be wishboned on the '89 like yours is. anyway, nice bike regardless. if you were local, i'd come take a look at it. good luck with your sale, hope it finds a new home.
